On Writing

Many excellent websites offer advice to writers of all levels of experience, and provide far more valuable sources of information and pertinent links than anything I could ever hope to compile and pass on. The number and quality of such sites has burgeoned in the years since I created mine from information gathered from a print copy of WordPress: the Missing Manual, 2nd ed.

I’m unable to locate my list of recommended author and illustrator blog posts, organizations, and related links that I once had available on my site. I much prefer the Classic Editor I was used to working with for years, and I continue to find the block system headache-inducing for its ability to mess up my carefully arranged placement of text and words. I’ve lost valuable time trying to make small editorial changes that were once quick and easy to correct. Why am I staying with WordPress? Good question! I wish I could find and restore the original pages of this site, which once contained links that I’d set up over years of learning the craft and business of writing. I’ll try to get them back. Thanks for visiting!

Very nice post. I just stumbled upon your blog and wished to mention that I have truly loved surfing around your blog posts. In any case I’ll be subscribing for your feed and I’m hoping you write again very soon!
